Patrick McGee is still recovering in the hospital, but once he is feeling better, a reunion will be planned so he can say "thank you" in person.
PHOENIX — A man who went into cardiac arrest on a flight from Omaha to Phoenix was able to thank a passenger who saved his life after his search for her went viral.
Patrick McGee, 77, told KPNX he suffered a heart attack as the Southwest flight approached Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Wednesday, July 29.
McGee doesn't remember what happened, but paramedics told him a woman performed CPR and saved his life.
“There are no words you can say. I was gone. They said I was dead and brought back," McGee said.
