Early voting and in-person or mail-in absentee voting are available to Minnesota voters.
ST PAUL, Minn. — If you're out of town or can't make it to the polls on Election Day, Minnesota offers a few options to vote before Election Day.
VOTE EARLY IN PERSON
Minnesota voters can cast a ballot up to 46 days before an election through in-person absentee voting. The process is similar to mail-in absentee voting, except it's done same-day, in-person at a designated polling location. Voters fill out an absentee application, fill out the ballot on-site, and then the completed ballot is placed in an envelope to be submitted.
