Hennepin County judge lifts gag order in Vance Boelter murder case

A Hennepin County judge has lifted the gag order in Vance Boelter’s state murder case on Thursday, days after delaying his trial.

Boelter is already serving a federal life sentence for killing former state House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, along with their dog Gilbert. He also shot and wounded state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette.
