Hennepin County ends recovery fund program for small businesses impacted by Metro Surge

Hennepin County has ended a program meant to help small businesses affected by Operation Metro Surge.

County officials said they collaborated with a community-based lender to review 300 small business recovery fund applications.

The county said that to date, over 80 grants have been finalized, providing about $500,000 to help cover two months of rent or commercial mortgage payments for eligible businesses.
