LONDON, UK — Alison Hammond, the British TV personality and co-host of ITV's "This Morning," was hospitalized Friday but told fans she is "fine" after she abruptly left the studio during Friday's live broadcast after feeling unwell.
The "Great British Baking Show" host later said from a hospital bed that she was undergoing heart checks.
Hammond, 51, was presenting a segment about pets alongside Dermot O'Leary when she clutched her chest and ran off set, according to TV Guide.
After an ad break, O'Leary told viewers, "Alison is feeling a little unwell, so she's just had to duck out." He later said she would not return, and he presented the rest of the show alone.
