ST PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Frost will open their fourth season in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) on the road in San Jose, California, in early December.
The PWHL announced Monday that its opening weekend will take place Dec. 5 and 6, with all 12 teams in action across both days. The Frost is scheduled to play PWHL San Jose — one of four expansion teams taking the ice this season — at the SAP Center on Dec. 5.
Detroit, Hamilton and Las Vegas round out the list of new PWHL teams for 2026-2027.
The Frost will then play their first home game against Seattle on Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at Grand Casino Arena.
