A Michigan Supreme Court ruling removes Larry Nassar and thousands of others from the state's sex offender registry for pre-2011 offenses.
WASHINGTON — Former sports doctor Larry Nassar is among more than 20,000 convicted sex offenders removed from Michigan's registry after a state Supreme Court ruling.
According to this decision, Michigan cannot enforce its sex offender registry law for individuals whose offenses were committed before July 1, 2011.
Although Nassar has been removed from the registry, this ruling does not alter his prison sentences.
