WASHINGTON — The FBI is renewing its search for a former firefighter wanted after allegedly faking his own death to evade child pornography charges.

The FBI's San Francisco office posted Tuesday on X that Charles Johnathen Harris allegedly drowned in a boating accident on April 4, 2023, one month after he was charged with possession of child pornography.
