Forest Lake police: Alcohol believed to be factor in serious crash involving state trooper

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a Forest Lake crash that left a state trooper and another person seriously injured.

Forest Lake police said that at 5:35 p.m. on Sunday, they responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-35 just south of 220th Street North.

Minnesota State Patrol added that one of its squad cars and a Lexus were involved in the crash.
