WASHINGTON — More than 223,000 Ford F-150 trucks are under recall due to an improperly secured fuel tank, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
In a recall notice on Sept. 9, safety regulators said certain 2023 through 2027 Ford F-150 trucks may have an improperly secured fuel tank that could leak or detach while driving. The recall says fuel leaks could increase the risk of a fire or engine stall from fuel loss.
