Flags across Wisconsin flew at half-staff as family, friends and fellow troopers remembered State Patrol Trooper Bradley Ritger.
A private visitation and funeral service for Ritger was held earlier Tuesday at Chippewa Valley Bible Church in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Ritger was 29 and served as a state trooper in Wisconsin’s northwest region for nearly five years.
Ritger fell from a bridge along I-94 while trying to stop a driver leading police on a chase using a tire deflation device. He died Oct. 2, leaving behind his wife and two daughters.
