Fairview leadership stated the new laboratory would help expand specialized testing options for patients and clinicians.
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Fairview Health Services announced Monday it plans to build a new laboratory in Roseville, scheduled to open in 2028.
The 125,000-square-foot laboratory will be located near Snelling Avenue and County Road C. In a press release, Fairview leaders said the new facility will increase the testing capacity by nearly 2 million tests each year.
"Laboratory medicine touches nearly every part of healthcare, even though much of that work happens behind the scenes," said Jeoff Will, president and chief operating officer at Fairview. "This investment is about building the infrastructure our clinicians and communities will need as care becomes more specialized, more personalized and more connected."
