The state of Minnesota is facing off against Elon Musk’s company, X, in federal court on Wednesday as the company continues its fight against a new state law banning AI-made fake nude images of real people.
The lawsuit filed by X.AI is directed at Minnesota’s new AI nudification law that went into effect on Aug. 1 which bans AI tools from using a real person’s likeness to create fake nude images. The new law also allows victims to bring a case in civil court.
