ST PAUL, Minn. — Minnesotans are very much planning ahead and putting pen to paper this midterm primary election.
According to the Secretary of State's office, 206,196 absentee and mail ballots for the Aug. 11 primary have been accepted. That's the highest number of absentee and mail ballots cast before a primary in a non-presidential election year, officials say.
