Dollar Tree recalls 360,000 electric balloon pumps due to burn hazard

Dollar Tree sold the pumps at stores nationwide, including online and through DoorDash, between August 2025 and July 2026.

WASHINGTON — More than 360,000 electric balloon pumps sold at Dollar Tree stores nationwide are being recalled as they can overheat, posing a burn hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall notice for 360,500 Dollar Tree electric balloon pumps after the manufacturer received three reports of overheating, including one report of flames inside the unit and another report of the pump exploding.

According to the recall, no injuries have been reported as of Thursday.
