Costco plans to launch Medicare products for senior members

WASHINGTON — Costco is planning to start selling Medicare Advantage plans at select locations.

The retail chain is partnering with Scan Group, a nonprofit organization that focuses on addressing healthcare issues among older adults.

Costco and Scan said they plan to launch and sell senior-focused insurance products over the coming years to help older adults navigate their health insurance, according to a news release. Those products include prescriptions, Medflex over-the-counter benefits, vision, audiology and more.
