The Department of Corrections says Ronald Reed is scheduled to appear before the Supervised Release Board Tuesday.
ST PAUL, Minn. — Ronald Reed is up for parole again, 20 years after being convicted of killing St. Paul police officer James Sackett.
It's the fourth time Reed is scheduled to appear before the state's Supervised Release Board after being sentenced to life in prison in 2006 for the crime that happened in 1970.
"We feel like we're the victims in this situation," said Sackett's daughter, Julie. "Why do we have to keep fighting to keep him in prison?"
