After a recent spike in vehicle break-ins, Columbia Heights police are now seeking the public’s help.
The Columbia Heights Police Department said that, over the past three weeks, 32 cars have been broken into. Authorities said there is no clear pattern in the items being targeted or taken but in most cases the suspects have smashed the car windows to get inside.
A map shared by police highlights the break-ins that happened between July 24 and Aug. 11.
