WASHINGTON — Deep in the Amazon lies an ancient predator from Brazilian folklore known as Boiúna.
In the horror film "Beware Boiúna," a team of young doctors travels to the rainforest for a humanitarian mission. However, not everyone is thrilled with their arrival, which awakens a colossal snake.
"Things start to pop off and go crazy, and it's basically about these humans surviving and fighting for what they each individually believe is right, but Boiúna will have the last say," said Kiana Madeira ("Fear Street," "Trinkets"), who plays Lena.
