Barack Obama endorses Peggy Flanagan in tight Minnesota US Senate race

Former President Barack Obama has endorsed Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan in her bid for the U.S. Senate.

In the endorsement video, Obama pledged his support for Flanagan’s push for universal healthcare and mentioned that she was an organizer on his first presidential campaign.

Flanagan is up against Republican nominee and President Donald Trump-endorsed Michele Tafoya with just over a week until Election Day.
