Banana Ball returning to Target Field in 2027 with Party Animals vs. Firefighters

Banana Ball is set to return to Target Field in the summer of 2027 as the Party Animals known as the “Greatest Party in Sports,” will face the Firefighters, dubbed the “Hottest Team in Sports,” in two Banana Ball World Tour games.

The announcement comes just months after the Savannah Bananas and Loco Beach Coconuts played in front of three consecutive sold out crowds in August.

Minneapolis was selected as one of 74 cities on the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour and one of just 23 Major League Baseball stadiums chosen to host games, according to the Minnesota Twins.

Banana Ball is a fast-paced and fan-focused version of baseball which has gained popularity across the United States for its choreographed dances, trick plays and unique rules, including foul balls caught by fans counting as outs.
