Authorities across Minnesota continue to investigate cyberattacks on their water systems.

As we’ve reported, hackers targeted 30 water systems in Minnesota last week.

At least five other states have now also reported similar cyberattacks.

One city in Minnesota targeted was Braham, and Mayor Nate George says action has been taken to prevent another attack.

“Right now the water plant is completely disconnected from the internet,” George said. “We’re looking back to the state on helping out with a lot of this stuff. We’re hoping for some more information as far as mitigation measures recommendations to go forward from there.”
