Mattel announced Wednesday, Aug. 19 its UNO Championship series, a competitive live event that will elevate the classic card game to an "adrenaline-fueled tournament." The toymaker said it will have in-person and digital qualifiers, culminating in a championship tournament on Nov. 11 in Los Angeles, California.

The winner will get the first-ever Champion title and a $50,000 grand prize.
