Adam Thielen Foundation unveils renovated weight room at Harding High School

Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen may be retired from football, but his commitment to giving back remains as strong as ever.

Adam Thielen and his wife, Caitlin, visited Harding High School on Thursday to celebrate the ribbon cutting of a newly renovated weight room funded through the Thielen Foundation in partnership with Torque and UNRL.

The upgraded facility is the latest investment by the foundation, which focuses on youth development through educational, athletic and community initiatives.

“This is something much bigger than sports, obviously,” Thielen told KSTP’s Alec Ausmus. “This helps them in their athletic journey, but it’s much bigger than that. It’s about life, life lessons, hard work, dedication, sacrifice, all the things that it takes to work hard in the weight room.”
