A few days of sunshine before rain chances return – Chris

Good Monday evening!

After a dreary weekend, clouds are still hanging tough across much of Minnesota this evening. A little spotty drizzle may linger in a few places, but conditions will gradually improve overnight as skies become partly cloudy.

It will also turn chilly, with lows falling into the upper 40s.

The good news: sunshine finally returns Tuesday. Expect partly cloudy skies, seasonably cool temperatures, and highs in the mid-60s. Wednesday looks even brighter, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s.

Our next weather maker arrives Thursday. Clouds increase again, with off-and-on showers likely through the day. Highs stay cool in the mid-60s.

A few showers may linger into Friday, with another chance of rain Saturday. Right now, neither day looks like a complete washout, but clouds will remain fairly stubborn.

Sunday looks better, with partly cloudy skies and highs near 70 degrees....
