5 candidates for Hennepin County Attorney vying for spot on November ballot

Five candidates are on the ballot Tuesday seeking to replace Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, who is not pursuing reelection.

Because the position is nonpartisan, the candidate pool won’t be narrowed based on party affiliations. Instead, the two most popular candidates voted on Tuesday will have their names appear on the general election ballot in November and campaign against one another.
