Former Rep. Matt Gaetz is facing sex trafficking allegations from two women in a new lawsuit filed in a district court in Florida on Thursday.
WASHINGTON — A civil lawsuit filed Thursday by two women accused former Rep. Matt Gaetz of alleged sex trafficking.
The 38-page lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, is the latest development in an ongoing sexual abuse scandal involving Gaetz, who resigned from Congress in November 2024.
The lawsuit identified two women as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2. The filing seeks a jury trial on allegations involving Gaetz and two other men: former Florida state Rep. Chris Dorworth and Joel Greenberg, a former tax collector in Florida's Seminole County.
The lawsuit also names three dental businesses that appeared to be tied to Greenberg.
