A 17-year-old boy died after falling in an abandoned New Orleans building, according to the police.
NEW ORLEANS — A 17-year-old boy died after falling down a staircase inside an abandoned skyscraper near downtown New Orleans early Saturday, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police said the teen and a group of friends entered the abandoned and boarded-up building known as the Plaza Tower around midnight.
"No one should be entering boarded-up, abandoned buildings," said Deputy Mayor Michael Harrison.
