13-year-old hurt after being thrown from ATV in Morrison County

A teenage girl was hurt after being thrown from an ATV in Morrison County on Friday.

The sheriff’s office says a 16-year-old girl was driving an ATV in the ditch along Grouse Road in Little Falls with a 13-year-old girl as a passenger around 7:25 p.m. on Friday. Officials say the ATV hit a driveway approach at high speed and the teens were thrown from the ATV.

The 13-year-old was brought to St. Gabriel’s Hospital with unknown injuries, law enforcement said. Both girls were wearing helmets at the time of the incident.
