One man is dead following a crash involving multiple motorcycles Saturday on Highway 61 near Two Harbors.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the motorcycles were traveling in a group northbound on the highway when several riders crashed just after exiting the Silver Creek Cliff Tunnel just before 12:30 p.m.
Multiple motorcycles veered into oncoming traffic and hit a Volkswagen Jetta in the southbound lane.
One motorcyclist, identified as Alexander Wayne Otis, 31, of Bruno, died in the crash, the State Patrol said. Several others were injured.
Two women inside the Volkswagen were unharmed.
