At a press conference just after 11 a.m., Hopkins Police Chief Brent Johnson said officials are still trying to determine the exact cause of their deaths.
HOPKINS, Minn. — Three people are dead, including a child, after an incident at a Hopkins daycare facility Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at Brown Bear Daycare on the 200 block of Tyler Avenue North, just after 9 a.m.
At a press conference just after 11 a.m., Hopkins Police Chief Brent Johnson said the victims included an adult man and woman, as well as a child, who Johnson said authorities believe are of the same family and potential owners of the facility.
Officials are still trying to determine the exact cause of their deaths, but noted they believe the man who perpetrated the attack was among the deceased.
